Discharge And Bleeding
Though bleeding is common to occur among all the women, discharge of whitish liquid is associated with different factors like pregnancy and infection. If bleeding occurs during the MC(menstruation cycle), nothing is to worry about the woman. But if the discharge occurs untimely or randomly, it becomes a cause of anxiety for the woman. Such a random discharge reveals a few specific characteristics substantiating the discharge as abnormal.
Discharge may occur due to many reasons. Placenta embedding itself in the lining of the uterus and implantation of the fertile eggs inside the uterus causes a discharge substantiating the pregnancy. But this is not the only reason of discharge as many other factors also have their contribution in causing a discharge. Some of the crucial reasons of discharge is hormonal activation process during the pregnancy, infection, inflammation and cervical erosion.
Due to hormones getting activated during the pregnancy, a whitish mucous starts getting released or discharged from the vagina profusely. Such discharge causing no aching or pain to the woman happens to be odorless. In order to control discharge of such odorless whitish mucous, the women should avoid using tampons or pad, nor should they douche it as well. Rather a sterilized cotton pad should be used and a best quality absorbent underwear should be put on by them.
Another cause of discharge is an infection which can easily be recognized by its obnoxious smell and stains. The stains caused through the discharge over the pantie happens to be too dark and cant easily be washed away by the woman.
There are two kinds of infections playing their pivotal role in untimely discharge. One recognized as yeast infection while the other as bacterial vaginosis or BV infection. Yeast infection causes a whitish or brownish discharge with yeasty smell, just tantamount to a baking powder. Such discharge occurs due to micro organism getting disordered inside the vagina of respective woman, causing in this way a bad smell. Caused due to infection the discharge shows the possibility of premature labor as well rendering the condition of woman much critical.
Another cause of discharge is the sexually transmitted infection(STI), also known as Chlamydia. Discharge caused due to STI looks greenish and yellow by color causing an unpleasant smell therefrom. Such kind of discharge occurs just after an intercourse with the partner and can cause an infection to the male partner as well, calling in this way for a medicated treatment. Antibiotics are recommended by the doctors to treat such infections leading to untimely discharge during the pregnancy stage.
Bleeding or discharge occurs due to some other reasons as well which the woman herself happens to be responsible for. Those who like to use vaginal deodorants, fabric softeners and other toiletries rather should refrain from using such items further as they play their contrary roles by causing vaginal infection leading to excessive discharge.
