Acne Causing Foods
As is a common notion prevalent in the world that acne problem has got to erupt when the guys and gals step into adulthood, saying a good bye to their childhood, hardly does any guardian or parent bother to look into the foods causing the acne problem among the teenagers.
Although, no body can deny the fact that acne is a spontaneous sign of boys and girls reaching their puberty, there are some precautionary measures which can prevent the acne problem from emerging among the teenagers, if taken on time.
Let’s have a look at the acne causing foods. Contrary to a concept that teen age boys and girls easily burn whatever they consume, excessive intakes of specific edible items such as excessive protein, sugar, dairy products and wheat are considered to be the acne causing foods, which the teenagers and their parents should be aware of.
Following are a few acne causing food substances which the teenagers should exercise a control on.
- Animal proteins should be avoided as they, being highly acidifying, develop pernicious bacteria and parasites, causing acne problem.
- Packed meat- It contains the Sodium, a harmful substance, causing cancer among the living beings. Its intake by the teenagers has got to erupt among them acne problem excessively. The teenagers should consume only organic meat as it lacks the unscrupulous effect on teenagers as acne causing food item.
- Sweets- Excessive consumption of sweets and refined sugar products also are supposed to be the acne causing foods. Their toxic effect inside the abdomen paves the way for acne to emerge among the teenagers.
Except natural fruits which work on teenagers as favorable detoxifying agent, you should refrain from consuming the processed juices, honey and other sweet products such as chocolates, cakes and sweet candy.
- Dairy Products- Except Yogurt, avoid all the dairy products including milk as well. Slowing down the digestive process among the teenagers, the dairy products pave the way for bacteria to putrefy the dairy products in the body. The milk products, including the pasteurize and homogenized milk, happen to be highly mucus, thus forming a blockage in the process of burning of consumed items. Such a lack of absorption works as acne problem among the teenagers.
The milch cows and buffaloes are fed large quantity of antibiotics and hormones in order to enhance their milk which, on entering into the body of teenagers, cause acne, contrary to their general notion.
So if you are about to step into your puberty and are much acne-conscious, not letting acne problem to engulfs you, avoid consuming the dairy products as much as you can. But you can enjoy yogurt without any hitch as it is not likely to prove appear as acne causing food.
- Wheat and Grains- Though all the boys and girls are recommended to consume wheat and grain products, the acne conscious teenagers should avoid all the products made from wheat and grains such as bread, pasta, biscuits, cakes, etc. Such food items slow the digestive system which in turn allows the harmful bacterias to emerge, causing in this way, a suitable environment for acne to erupt among the teenagers.
Getting deprived of micro nutrients and enzymes, the wheat cases perilous effect on the digestive system. In order to replenish the deficiency of vital nutrients of wheat and rice, the teenagers should consume potatoes and other starch based foods profusely.
