I tried lavender oil for pimples i have over and arround my nose, on my forhead and on my chin and about a minute after i put it on it was burning like crazy and my skin became red and inflamed. I use lavender oil on other parts of my body like my legs after i shave because it stops razor burn for me, but i do not recomend using it around your nose. i had to wash with dove soap for a while and then put neosporin (the spray not the oily kind) on it to stop the burning. It works, but its painful!!

I personaly like the Toothpaste method the best……it was really cheap and most people have it at home
Also the blistex green tube chapstick you apply that to the pimple over night and should be a little bit less noticalble in the morinig
Then if you want to try crushing an asprin tablet and mixing it with water.to .form a patse and apply to the pimple overnight….wash off in mornig
Also (GIRLS) fi you want to use less maske up to cover the pimple try useing eyedrps…it will make it less red and eaiser to cover up

well the tooth paste works sometimes. ( because i have sensitive skin it DOESNT) one day i put alittle too much toothpaste and the next day it left my cheeks burnt ! just the area where the toothpaste was .. yeah it was tragicc !

if you get burnt with tooth paste , you should try to put water on the burnt part , trust me it workks !

First, take a deep breath….chill. Its ok. I can tell you must not have experienced many zits before–lucky–but depending on ur age and how far along you are in puberty…well lets just say u may be expecting more.
-toothpaste dries out and gets rid of redness but not the zit overall
-you can use a medicine like pro active but dont get too obsessed and sometimes these make it worse before better
but also if ur a girl u tend to breakout before ur period a lot too….

mix benzoil peroxide and toothpaste. then put a bandaid on it IT WORKS!

The darker skin around your lip is a shadow, buy two foundations, 1 your skin tone and 1 two shades lighter then your skin tone, apply the lighter foundation around your lips with your finger and the rest IF YOU WANT all around your face. The foundation I suggest is Maybelline Anti-age Rewind Cream Foundation (I know it sounds for older people but a lot of younger people use it because it looks natural), you can buy it at any drug store. Go to the doctor about the wrinkles, thats rare. For clear skin the skin doctor told me to use Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser, and it really works! You can buy it at any drug store. Good luck!
do you go out in the sun and tan? or use the tanning bed? thats why you have wrinkles and you could get skin cancer…so yea i would stop

okay well first of all i know im a late replyier but ur bf should accept u the way u are and second of all you should first try drying the pimple out by putting benzoyle peroxyde mixed with tooth PASTE not gel and then after about the entire night wash it off and the u could apply eyedrops to reduce the redness and the u could conceal it with makeup

YOU SHOULD NOT USE TOOTHPASTE BECAUSE IT DRIES OUT HE REST OF YOUR SKIN AND CALLS FOR SOME EXTRA TLC. Honey works really well and clearisel is the best. Also, if you mix sugar and water that helps. And even aspiren dissolved in water works SUPER well.

^ note to you, having one above your lip is not the worst place, the worst place is with out a doubt between your eyes like a friggin target practice.
using an alum block also helps reduce the size of a pimple that hasn’t come to a head

alright guys! you really wanna know how to get rid of a pimple? ok but this will require 2 days, first clean the pimple with salycilic acid acne wash, next clean the pimple with a benozyl peroxide over, or if you want you can mix them together
get some HOT! water.. and sit so your face is facing the steam, put a towel over your head until your done! after that clean your face with sugar and water mixed together so its an exfoliating scrub, or if you have your own then use it! next splash your face with really cold water. so you can close up the pores.. next get an ice cube and rub all over the pimple for about 5 to 10 minutes. Next get some honey and massage all ver the pimple and leave the honey for about 10 to 20 minutes.. wash it off and apply your favorite moisturizer! And then your done! just becareful if you go out in the sun use sunblock and you might want to cover that up with a good concealer! 
anyway get a good night sleep and drink plenty of water

what i did was applied toothpaste to spot helps dries out the spot
the next day i used a honey face pack that night i washed my face and applied sudocreme to the pot the next day it was GONE
I just tried the lemon juice it stung so bad i tried sticking out for a second but i had to wash it off!

But try to not use alot only use where the pimples is occuring ….
Tooth paste (Colgate) and Peroxide works.Use 4 to 5 times a week. And make sure that you wet a rag, get it warm enough for your skin. Sit it on your skin for about 5 to 10 mins. Take off and apply Peroxide with a small cleaning pad or cotton ball, then put your colgate on it. Just enough to make a layer face mask. I used it on Aug 12 and Aug 14 my face was completely clean. and Aug 16 my face was smooth as a baby bottom. Clean and clear, no scars. Not acne. My face was like 30 people faces put together. I always have comments saying “Excuse me, do you have AID’s or something”, i reply no i have bad acne. Proactiv clog up pores. My doctor gave me the idea. And it work.

i just started breaking out with pimples, ive always had little white bumps on my chin but wasn’t very noticeable unless your seriously LOOKING at my face, anyways.. so now i’m getting little red pimples on my cheek, and a couple on my forehead. i keep washing my face with olay foaming facial wash. then use st. ives once a week. it was working before but now it’s not. i started using the olay because it makes my skin dry, and usually that helps the pimple dry out. but after a while my skin started getting oily the next day. i use the mint julep mask but not over my face just to the effected areas, it’s starting to help the pimples on my forehead it’s almost gone, but it won’t help my cheek pimples. i guess i have to be patient, but does anyone recommend anything for me to use? note i do not have acne.. i just get a couple breakouts here and there.
it might not be heling ur cheeks cause maybe ur resting ur face in ur hands and passing all the oils and bacteria to ur face. try not to touch your face ?

ok, well i went to the dermatologist a few weeks ago and they gave me some benzoyl peroxise along with a moisturizer. by the way im 12 so its probly my hormones that are making me get acne. my dad is saying that my face looks alot better, but i still have a few on my fore-head so i think im gonna’ try that tooth-paste technuiqe tommorrow. i’ll comment back and see how it works out.

I’m not sure if you mean stinking or stinging…but if it’s stinging it may mean that the toothpaste has a gel. Gels can cause more harm than help. Wash it thoroughly with warm water and soap and use a hot compress to help relieve the burning. And if it’s stinking then that’s probably a bad idea as well.

okay i saw a bunch of remedies here so im trying all! i am using toothpaste on one spot, honey/cinnamon on another, asprin/water on another, lavender spray on another, sugar/water on another, DMSO which is horse stuff from a health food store on one and lemonjuice on another.

okay to be honest, nothing works overnight. the 2 best one’s i found was the DMSO and some perfume called Moonlight Path from bath and body works because it is infused with real lavender extraxt so real lavender would probably be better. As for all the other things, they didnt really make much of a difference they reduced the redness a little. The one that i put the DMSO on was swolen yesterday and i put it on overnight and the next morning, the sweling was completely down and there was a little white head there but i reccomend using it only once a week because it is very strong. It may sting a little when you first put it on but it will go away. The perfume can be used everyday. DO NOT SPRAY IT ONTO YOUR FACE!!!!!! put some in your hands and rub it on your face.
I am the type of person who doesn’t like to go buy stuff for my face but i do use a apricot scrub from either neutrogena or clean and clear. I don’t remember which, u can get it at any drugstore and it works GREAT!!. so anyways any suggestions on stuff that may be around the house will be greatly appreciated.

Ooook. It’s best you DON’t use any of the above… Toothpaste is NOT meant for skin and can leave uber scars. Check out some other websites… To get rid of a pimple it takes time and the right ingredients for YOU. Ice and honey are great, and so are egg whites…. But don’tuse cinnamon or any fragrance on your skin. Be careful! THIS IS YOUR PRECIOUS FACE. You dont want hideous scars or major breakout… Kthxbai
i have anchney too and it’s all over my fore head i tried proativ and it really seems to be working!,
biut i know some people can’t afford that kind of stuff and my doctor told me before i had proactiv to try ice 3 times a day for 10 mintues per try so that’s a half hour perday!
That really worked too it helped bring down the swelling really well, and i also tried toothpast going to bed jouring the night leaving it on all night and washing it poff i the morning that really helps them dry up quicker too so yeah and do not i repeat dpo not pop them and try to get the toothpast without jel, and also if u can affort it go to a doctor and get something form the doctor they have the best!
Now for scarring i would also recconamand toothpast or honey they r really good you can try ice to if u want but i don’t think that’ll help and also you can try dove soap!
And try to kepp ur hair back if u have bangs they pin them back if ur at school ur choice u can were them done but when u get home pin them up i would reccomande pinning thenm back but i know some peeps r ashammed so yeah!
