Upper frenulum piercing is the most popular piercing which maximum number of women curiously rush for. It is performed behind their upper lip, piercing a hole between the two front teeth so that an ornament can be worn easily through the pierced area of lips and upper gum of mouth.
Though it may look too eerie and precarious sort of piercing, the smiley piercing causes lesser pain and the limited wounds. The wounds caused by smiley piercing get easily and quickly healed. Some bold people doing often a lot of experiments with their body can muster the courage to go ahead in performing a smiley piercing as well on their own without bothering to consider its serious consequences. Such courageous ones are strictly advised not to take any risk as the smiley piercing, to be performed over the most sensitive part of their body, that is mouth, can put them into more trouble. Rather they should hire a professional piercer to perform smiley piercing on them.

i loooove my smiley im just afraid it will have enamel erosion or hurt my gums??
you won’t trust me, it specifically declares that you will not harm your gums if you have a ring.
However if you put a bar in it could irritate your gums.
it probably will, piercings like that generally do.
How to remove the smiley stud ? Mine is not curved, I did it at a shop and they use a straight stud and close it with plastic . I don’t know how to take out . I wanted to change my stud into a curved one , but it was so difficult to take the straight stud out .
just gently hold one side and unscrew the ball on the other side i had to get some one to help me hold my lip out of the way, because it was so hard to work around it.
- I love my smiley piercing, it doesn’t damage my teeth at all, because it rests on my gums. It was painless to get done and it’s so cute, because I smile so much. It was totally worth it :] <3
i have a smiley piercing, i’m 15 and pierced it myself because i’m too young to get it done. mine didn’t hurt at all, and isn’t infected so far. i clean it everyday, and i love it. i have a horse`shoe in it with blue balls, it’s so cute. i suggest it to everyone.
I really want to get mine done for my birthday april 2nd ill be 16 and i just wanted to know a few questions..
1) how bad does it hurt 1-10 10 being unbearable?
2) will it cause damage to my teeth if i have a ring?
3) is it better to get it done by a professional? and if so how much would they charge?
THANKSSS(:
1) For me, a two. Getting it done was absolutely painless. I was playing music, focused on the beat, and watched it go through the skin. But the morning after, it’s a little sore, but bearable.
2) Afraid so, but if you clean it everyday, it won’t as much.
3) I can’t answer this question. I pierced my smiley by myself with a safety pin. Terrible, I know, but I was having a bad day and did it on impulse.
heyy, i wanted to know how long you waited to change it from a saftey pin to a ring, becos i just pierced mine not ore than a half hour ago.
1) Scale of 1-10? Zero! It’s painless.
2) It may cause damage, it all depends on the ring.
3) Getting ANY piercing is best suggested to be professionally done, and if so, you would have to call the place you’re interested in getting your piercing at.. all locations have different prices.
