H1N1 Swine Flu Vaccine – Pros And Cons
H1N1 swine flu has recently been identified as a most dangerous disease claiming innumerable lives of people allover the world. Also known as hog flu or pig flu, swine flu actually is a contagious disease erupting due to infection. It has caused a tremendous panic among the people across the globe. Originating in pigs, H1N1 swine flue affects all the vulnerable people like older ones, women and the children. A large number of deaths reported every day from different countries has exposed H1N1 swine flu as a challenge for the health department.
An invisible swine influenza virus(SIV), found in pigs, spreads H1N1 swine flu form one person to another. Those who reside close to pigs develop H1N1 swine flu very easily. In order to check arbitrary spread of H1N1 swine flu disease, some effective shots or vaccine injections have been introduced very recently. Though the vaccines are effective enough in controlling H1N1 swine flu syndromes, they cause some negative effects as well on the vaccinated individuals. Lets have a look at pros and cons of H1N1 swine flu vaccine shots/injections and H1N1 sprays.
Pros of H1N1 Vaccine Injections
- H1N1 Vaccine Injections Do Not Cause Flu Symptoms– Flu syndromes such as headache, cough, fever and fatigue make the people vulnerable to H1N1 swine flu’s unexpected onslaught. But H1N1 vaccine injections, meant to control swine flu, enhance the immunity of body to an attack of swine flu’s invisible virus and protect approximately all the people from H1N1 swine flu.
- H1N1 Swine Flu Vaccines Enhance The Immunity Of Body– People, affected from a breathing problem(chronic asthma) and pneumonia also are susceptible to H1N1 swine flu. Body of these patients, with less immunity, cant withstand attack of swine influenza virus(SIV) causing untimely death. Likewise, the children(below 6 years of age), old people(above fifty) and pregnant women also are affected of invisible swine influenza virus causing H1N1 swine flu in their body. Lacking a resistance power, almost all the victims of swine influenza virus succumb to swine flu disease. But vaccination with H1N1 shots annihilate all the chances of swine flu causing death of affected one.
Once a person is vaccinated with H1N1 vaccine, he/she becomes immune to onslaught of influenza virus for a long term and thus cant be overpowered by H1N1 swine flu. According to world’s prominent doctors, the H1N1 swine flu vaccines do not cause any side effects and are perfectly safe for health. Each and every one expected to be exposed to flu should get themselves vaccinated with H1N1 swine flu vaccines without any delay.
- WHO Provides The H1N1 Vaccine Injections– Children, old people, asthmatic ones and the pregnant women, being vulnerable to flu or influenza virus are easily overpowered by H1N1 swine flu’s bout. But timely administration of H1N1 swine flu vaccine shots enhances natural immunity of their body and protects them from swine flu. Enhanced immunity of the body against flu mitigates all the chances of H1N1 swine flu’s emergence. WHO has embarked upon a supplying-spree of H1N1 swine flu vaccines to all the countries suspected to be affected from H1N1 swine flu. Only a timely detection and administration of vaccine injections for H1N1 swine flu can save the life of affected people.
- H1N1 Vaccine Injections Do Not Contain Live Influenza Virus– There is a widespread apprehension among the people that vaccine shots/injections, administered to enhance immunity or resistance-power of body, causes H1N1 swine flu among the unaffected ones. But such fear is totally baseless as H1N1 swine flu vaccines contain only dead influenza virus and not the active or live virus. How can such a dead virus get active to cause H1N1 swine flu in the body?
What actually seems to become a con of H1N1 swine flu vaccine is dead influenza virus’s existing in the body for fifteen days. During such period if an individual develops some flu syndromes like cough, runny nose, fever, fatigues, etc, the H1N1 swine flu vaccine shot is defamed to cause H1N1 swine flu. Shed a phobia of vaccine’s causing H1N1 swine flu in the body. Some climatic effects or food consumption disorder contribute in causing many symptoms similar to that of flu or influenza.
Cons of H1N1 Vaccine
- Flu Strains Stultify H1N1 Swine Flu Vaccine– Though H1N1vaccines are effective enough to prevent emergence of swine flu, in some specific cases even the seasonal vaccines fail to provide a protection from H1N1 swine flu. It is only because of some flu strains which the H1N1 swine flu vaccine may contain.
- Two Vaccines Are Required– There are two vaccines needed to be administered to the affected ones, one, known as seasonal flu vaccine while another called H1N1 swine flu vaccine. People seeking to get themselves perfectly immune to H1N1 swine flu should get themselves vaccinated with both the shots.
- Some Side Effects Appear Over The Body– The H1N1 swine flu vaccines through are effective in reining in the swine flu’s protraction, there are some side effects appearing on the body of vaccinated ones in a form of soreness, inflammation, redness or swelling in the arms. Maximum number of vaccinated people experience a pain, fatigues and a mild fever in their body.
- Nasal Spray Vaccine Causes Negative Effects– The H1N1 swine flu vaccines are available as injections and nasal sprays. Though H1N1vaccines cause side effect only in rare cases, spray vaccines used through the nose cause some complications like runny nose, shivering, headache and watery eyes. Such effects occurring with H1N1 spray vaccine is only because of live flu virus. H1N1 spray vaccines contain live and weak influenza virus, while the vaccine shots or injections meant for H1N1 swine flu contain only dead virus.
- Thimerosal Is Harmful– A preservative used in each shot of H1N1 swine flu vaccine is thimerosal which is suspected to develop health problems not only among the adults but children as well.
- Allergic Ones Cant Be Vaccinated– Though H1N1 swine flu vaccines are indispensable to be administered to the people of all ages, children below six yeas of age and those who are allergic cant be vaccinated with H1N1 swine flu shots.
- Guillain-Barré Syndrome– Guillain-Barré syndrome also is a con of H1N1 swine flu vaccine. Though its emergence is very rare, it is associated with H1N1 vaccines causing weakness, excessive debility and paralysis leading to sudden death.

I had recieved my h1n1 shot at 6 weeks pregnant, got incredibly sick the day after for 5 days. I then miscarried at 10 weeks and on the ultrasound my child was shown to have died at 6 weeks in my womb. h1n1 shot is not as cracked up as it is supposed to be! You can tell me anything and everything but I know what the real reason behind my miscarriage is.
