Information About Rosacea - Cause & Treatmentsuchs
Rosacea is a chronic skin disease affecting specially the face of the white-skin people (Caucasians). It is characterized by red skin, called erythema causing inflammation over the affected part of face. Rosacea looks like pimple-affected skin as well rendering entire complexion very ugly. Though it is not a dangerous skin disease, it can cause harm to the eyes, if emerged around them.
Affecting the denizens of Northwestern Europe, rosacea was earlier known as “Curse of Celts” in Britain and Ireland. But it didn’t remain restricted to Europe only and spread to other parts of world as well affecting both men and women. Its widespread prevalence encouraged the doctors to conduct medical research and collect maximum crucial information. According to research it has been revealed that only adults (between 30 and 60 years of age) are affected at large. Though the adults of both sexes are vulnerable to rosacea, the figure of women, affected from rosacea, exceeds that of men. Women are affected three times more than the men.
The sensitive parts of facial skin, susceptible to rosacea, are the cheeks, nose and forehead. Emerging very lightly during its initial stage, the rosacea becomes darker and spreads randomly all over the face spoiling natural beauty or look of affected woman or man. Though it is the facial skin very sensitive to rosacea syndrome, the neck, chest, ears and scalp also can get affected by rosacea, reveal the medical experts.
Though darkness redness over facial skin, accompanied by pimple-like bumps, is a vivid sign of rosacea, it can be identified as pinkish skin, telangiectasia, red small bumps and pustules as well. In nutshell, rosacea may vary from person to person depending upon the sensitivity of affected individual’s skin.

Anything you put on your skin can cause problems, depending on what’s in it, so it’s important to look at the ingredients in ALL the products you use on your face, body and hair.
Research is showing a buildup of chemicals on the skin can cause acne, dryness (which leads to prematurely aging skin and makes acne worse) and skin cancer. Skin with rosacea reacts even more to these toxins.
With so many manufacturers using chemicals in their products, almost any product - cleansers, moisturizers, shampoos, conditioners, hair gels, sunscreens, etc. - can be causing breakouts on your face and body, or drying out your skin.
The ones advertised to clear acne can contain the most chemicals. For example, here’s a page that shows what’s in a Clearasil product and what those ingredients can do to skin
To find chemical-free products, read labels and research ingredients - or start with certified organic products which don’t contain harmful chemicals.
