High cholesterol during pregnancy is salubrious calling the pregnant women to keep themselves free from superfluous cholesterol in the body. No any medicine can be effective, despite its claim to help you get rid of cholesterol during pregnancy. It’s only a resolve of yours to keep yourself and your unborn baby healthy in womb which will earn you a great success in keeping anxiety of cholesterol at bay. As the women during pregnancy are allowed to enjoy whatever tastes them delicious, they are needed to burn additional fat or cholesterol produced by the products in their body which increases their weight. Though cholesterol is a vital solid compound (aka steroid alcohol sterol), crucial for human body, its excessiveness poses a threat not only the women during pregnancy but men as well. Produced by liver the cholesterol affects the natural function of heart causing thereby a problem of high blood pressure which, if not controlled, affects nine months’ pregnancy as well. 

High blood pressure is caused due either to high intakes of salt or high level of cholesterol posing a risk to the pregnant woman and her fetus or unborn baby. Hoping that consumption of butter, chocolates, cream and variety of fatty foods will keep their baby-in-womb healthy and strong, the young pregnant ladies do not control over their crave and store high level of cholesterol in their body during pregnancy. Unaware of contrary impact of high amount of cholesterol during pregnancy, the women do not bother to check the level of cholesterol which causes death of their unborn baby in the womb during last month of pregnancy, catching the mother unawares. It is a concealed suffocation affecting the unborn baby due to high blood pressure and lethargy caused to the mother due to excessive cholesterol which results into sudden death of baby in the womb. It is such contrary effect of high cholesterol during pregnancy which requires every young mother to cut down the level of cholesterol and live a healthy and fresh life with her cute baby.

How to deal with high cholesterol during pregnancy?

It is proper control of diets and regular exercises that keeps the women during pregnancy happy. Though a nutritionist is supposed to help pregnant women keep them and their unborn baby healthy by suggesting healthy dishes, free from cholesterol/fats, you should follow what is being penned down over here.   

  • Consume dry fruits- Instead of depending upon fatty products you should have dry fruits at large such as cashew nuts, almonds and coconuts. Almost all the dry fruits provide great amount energy in the body, required for unborn baby and do not saturate fats. Almost all the women loving chocolates, pastries, chips, potato wafers and variety of fatty or oily products store high level of cholesterol in their body during the pregnancy which makes them and their fetus vulnerable to high blood pressure, anxiety, lethargy, weakness and fatigue.  
  • Drink fresh fruit juice- Drink pomegranate juice and mixed-fruit-juice three to four times a day. Beware of lime or lemon juice as it causes contrary effect on the weight of your baby in the womb. Pomegranate juice boosts the energy stimulating body of woman during pregnancy to walk, and do many physical activities efficiently that is must for the good health of mother and unborn baby during nine month’s pregnancy.
  • Have a balance diet- Have a balanced diet with bread, rice, pulses, salad, butter, and leafy vegetables. Make sure that diet has fibrous foods. Except lunch and dinner you should avoid unhealthy foods such as deep fried spicy foods, toasts slathered with butter, pastries, cream rolls, chocolates, etc. If you want to eat salty products, eat the fried cashew nuts spraying over them black pepper and small quantity of salt.
  • Drink fresh zero bacteria water and
  • Do mild exercises- Last but not the least is mild exercises like Yoga, and walking. Do not fear of any contrary effect on your baby’s health of such exercises. But avoid lifting heavy object, running, swimming, and hanging.
