The Classical & Female Heart Attack Symptoms

The female heart attack symptoms are different from classical heart symptoms, meant for both men and women. Some of the common symptoms of female heart attack are nausea, indigestion, discomfort in the heart and weakness. It is the tremendous pain in the heart looking much conspicuous by its absence prior to heart attack affecting the women. Though there are many heart attack symptoms common in both the men and the women, known as classical symptoms of heart attack, a few specific symptoms have been found affecting the females only. The symptoms of female heart attack happen to be milder in nature and so are  ignored by the women inviting untimely death.

  • Squeezing pain in the chest (angina pectoris) is one of the common heart attack symptoms also known as classic symptoms affecting the men and the women.
  • A pressure exerted within the heart, prior to heart attack, is another classic symptom of heart attack, affecting both the males and the females.
  • Shortness of breath, described as suffocation as well, embarrasses the cardiac patients prior to heart attack. The males or females, prone to heart attack, have short breathing or no breathing at all.
  • Toughness of heart- Toughness or hardness of heart, during the heart attack, is a vivid symptom of classical heart attack requiring a quick medical attention.
  • Perspiration- Perspiration or sweating also is one of the common female and male heart attack symptoms making the affected one alert of something going wrong with his/her health. The individual affected from heart attack experiences large number of droplets of sweat on his/her face.
  • Left arm, neck and shoulder pain- A pain emerging in the chest radiates to a few left portions of body such as shoulder, arm and neck affecting both the male and female cardiac patients. 
  • Inflammation in the heart- The individuals experience burning sensation in their heart, a condition also known as heartburn, just after having their meal. The individuals may experience nausea and urge of vomiting.
  • Dizziness and confusion also is one of the common male and female heart attack symptoms, known as classical symptom of heart attack.

The heart attack symptoms among the women

Many of the symptoms of female heart attack though look much similar to those belonging to the classical symptoms, there are a few that are absent in the classical symptoms of heart attack. Go through a few heart attack symptoms seen in the women only.

  • Pain seeming to be caused due to gastric trouble or constipation affects the woman. It is one of the peculiar symptoms of female heart attack, ignored by a large number of the old women which triggers heart attack among them .
  • Dizziness- Although it is classical heart attack symptom, affecting men and women, it is considered as the female heart attack symptom as well. The women experience dizziness and giddiness prior to heart attack. Such condition should be taken as the vivid symptom of heart attack and doctor should be called immediately. Those who overlook such condition emerging in a woman over 50 do invite a bull to hit them.
  • Nausea- A female, susceptible to heart attack disease, may experience nausea also accompanied by vomiting. As it looks a common health problem it is ignored by the women paving the way for heart attack. If you notice nausea, accompanied by vomiting in old woman, ring at 911 to call the doctor as it is a heart attack symptom posing a grave threat to the life of woman concerned.    
  • Weakness and tiredness- Being one of the classical heart attack symptoms the weakness and tiredness also are the vivid symptoms of heart attack affecting mostly the old women.
  • Discomfort or irritation on shoulder- The women experience a typical pain on the blades of their shoulder which, despite being a vivid female heart attack symptom, seems slight or moderate in nature.  
  • Discomfort- It is a discomfort in the heart, much different from a pain, experienced in the chest by men known as angina pectoris. Discomfort in the female heart is one of the vivid female heart attack symptoms which doesn’t embarrass the women as severely as does the angina pectoris to the men.
