One of the main reasons of discharge is considered to be placenta embedding itself in the lining of uterus due to egg implantation inside the uterus causing in this way a thick transparent discharge. Such discharge substantiates a woman’s conceiving or becoming pregnant. With a woman’s conceiving, her hormones get activated enormously discharging in this way a thick substance, known as whitish mucus as well.

Such a whitish mucus keeps discharging from the vagina of a pregnant woman for a few months which may frazzle the respective woman to a great extent. But the woman, worried over such discharge, shouldn’t worry at all of such a thick substance being discharged from her vagina, unless the respective discharged substance is noticed by her similar to that of water.

Thick jelly-like substance being discharged during the initial pregnancy stage, doesn’t cause any aching or pain to the woman nor does it smell unpleasantly as well. The pregnant woman should not make any effort to control such discharge by using tampons/pad, nor should she apply douching as well. Rather a sterilized cotton pad or best absorbent underwear are the best solution of such natural discharge occurring prior to pregnancy.

Now the girls and unmarried ladies must be worried to know what causes a discharge and seeking to learn the effective tactics to stop it. If any girl or unmarried woman notices a sudden discharge, she rather should explore the main reason of respective discharge, exercising a patience on her part. Besides the pregnancy causing a whitish discharge(above mentioned), vaginal infection, cervical erosion and sexually transmitted diseases(STD) also contribute in discharging a substance (dissimilar to blood of MC) among the ladies.

Discharge of such substance, due to vaginal infection, causes an obnoxious smell and leaves irremovable stains on the pantie. Looking filthy by color, the discharged substance, looks much dark in color. Caused due to vaginal infection, the discharged substance looks brownish or dark red in color, depending upon the gravity of vaginal infection. Also resulting due to yeast infection or bacterial infection, sudden discharge from the vagina is required to be handled with proper care by the affected ladies. Commonly known as BV infection as well, a whitish or brownish substance discharged from the woman’s vagina looks just like a baking powder by its color.

Vaginal infection, releasing obnoxious substance, is not restricted up to unmarried ladies only, as the pregnant women also are the most affected ones of such infection. Such discharge occurs due to bacterial infection in the vagina following unsafe sex or intercourse with partner. Getting victimized of such infection, a pregnant woman gets easily victimized of premature labor which often renders pregnant woman’s condition very critical. You should consult the doctor following such complication’s experience.

Another cause of discharge is sexually transmitted infection, also known as Chlamydia. A filthy substance being discharged looks greenish or yellowish by color and smells obnoxiously. It occurs following an intercourse with the partner and can transmit an infection to the male partner as well, calling in this way for a quick-medical attention. A few antibiotics are recommended even here by the doctor in order to treat infection and prevent it spreading beyond.

Bleeding or a discharge occurs due to some other factors as well which the woman herself are responsible for. Those who use vaginal deodorants, fabric softeners and other toiletries should refrain from using such items as they cause contrary effects on user by developing vaginal infection which often leads to excessive discharge.
