The chigger, being a minutest mite, with its six legs is notoriously known as blood-sucking insect, feeding upon the warm blood of humans, pets, birds and mammals. • Take the bath regularly with a Luke warm water containing anti-itch medication, such as Hydro-cortisone, Calamine lotion and Sarna. Keeping your body well cleaned will help you get rid of chiggers efficiently.
• Benadryl also is a medication, helping the people get rid of chigger’s unscrupulous effect. 
• Do not go over the dense grassy field with your open sleeves and bare feet, if you do not want to invite chiggers to occupy your disposition.
• While having excursion over your lawn or a grassy field, always wear your pant, bush shirt and boot, thus inhibiting the chiggers from entering your body easily.
• Do not play over the grasses nor arrange any recreational activity in order to get rid of chiggers.
• Do not allow your children or pet to play over the densely grown up grasses of your lawn, a habitat of unscrupulous chiggers, if you seriously want to get rid of chiggers and want your children as well to remain safe from chiggers.
• Another most effective way to rid of chiggers is cutting the long grown up grasses from time to time. Such removal of grasses also has got to help you get rid of chiggers existing at your lawn.
• The chiggers target the small children and pets, who, being careless, pass through the grasses again and again while over it, thus permitting the chiggers to shift themselves over different parts of their body such as waist, ankles, neck and arm pits.
