Hamilton pocket watches are rare pocket watches, manufactured earlier in America. Its fancy dials, bestowed with inexplicable designs, spell a magical impact over its beholders. Credit of producing world’s unchallenged pocket watches goes to a research and development made by some manufacturing companies who introduced many advanced watches earlier in the days.

It was Hamilton Pocket Watch Co., which heralded the business of manufacturing sturdy pocket watches in 1874 in America following which Mr. E. F. Bowman kicked off producing many sophisticated pocket commercially watches from 1876 introducing standard 18 size watches. In a significant spree a Lancaster Watch Co. entered watch manufacturing business in 1877 introducing more advanced and beautiful models of pocket watches such as Keystone, Fulton, Franklin and Melrose. Though a small number of watch manufacturers had joined hands in making variety of pocket watches, they still couldn’t establish a niche in the respective field.

Seeing an increasing demand among the people for pocket watches, Hamilton Pocket Watch Co. was organized again in 1892 with the joint efforts of Charles Rood and Henry Cain. Aiming to provide durable and unique watches, the Hamilton pocket watch company produced its first model introduced as Railroad Grade Watches with a 42 hour main-spring. It still is reffered to as Hamilton 992 Grade Pocket Watch. Hamilton 992 Grade Pocket Watch had gained wide spread popularity in America among the railroad trainmen. But despite being superior and well efficient in giving accurate time, the Hamilton watches could not meet the demand, while the less popular brands like Elgin and Waltham produced the watches at much larger scale the year 1920. In order to cope with demand and supply gap a popular Illinois Watch Co also was merged with Hamilton Watch Company. in 1929. Following the expansion of manufacturing business, more and more advanced Hamilton watches were produced at a large scale. Hamilton Co. adopted upgraded technology and pressed into service only high quality materials, precious metals and pure gold.

Using high quality materials and hiring efficient and skilled professionals the Hamilton Pocket Watch Co. produced peculiar watches meeting the demand of all the Americans. Providing accurate time, the Hamilton watches earned a worldwide popularity posing an impregnable challenge to other manufacturers of the world. Within two decades of its remarkable busibess (from 1929 up to 1950), the Hamilton Watch Co. established its identity as accurate time. Today when Hamilton is nowhere to be seen in the market, it is treated as a status symbol of richest and aristocratic ones.

• Hamilton 152 pocket watch.
• Hamilton 153 pocket watch. (With different patterns of damaskeening 2,497 pieces were manufactured in 1899.)
  
• Hamilton 156 pocket watch.

• Hamilton 157 pocket watch-  With the rapid improvement many innovative techniques were adopted by Hamilton Watch Co. following which small-dial watches were introduced. Desite being smaller in shape, these small-dial Hamilton watches provided accurate time.

• Hamilton 181 pocket watch.

• Hamilton 187 pocket watch- (It was marked as 999 as well. Its pallets were created from sapphire jewels.)
